Layering of one above other, with none fading away, how true.Is this called Experience ,in course of time.Layers become thick enough when numbness sets in & nothing matters any longer.

is it so easy to turn a new leaf?, the past always comes to haunt back until given a proper burial :)

@ Compassion Unlimited,
Thanks! Even if the layer becomes thick and numbness sets in. There are times when things are able to penetrate that thick layer and reopen the wounds. So, its best that we try to reconcile with the past so that the wounds heal from within. So, that later even if someone pricks it, it won't hurt much.

reg your Bliss Interrupted post ...

For sure, the scene and the interpretation of the scene would be different if your gender were different, as would the be the attitude of other humans

@ Deepa,
Time is the best healer. Its best to reconcile with the past rather than run away from it. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
Cheer up! Life is beautiful :)
