Today was a beautiful day.
After a long long time, I lolled in nothingness and did what my heart prompted. I was not bothered with any deadlines or protocols. Loved the silence of my phone which was broken only by a couple of calls. I simply drowned myself in melody and every moment of it was blissful, listened to bangla gaan the whole day. I can't understand the language much. Still, I loved every bit of it. I Googled for the English translation of the lyrics but couldn't find any except for "Tomake Chai" (thanks to Rajbir for telling me about the song). For the last few days I was ruing about my failed plans, it was a much awaited holiday to get away from the city coz after a long time we were going to have a really long weekend and it seemed just perfect for a mini-adventure trip but then.....blah...blah...blah....shall spare you the details. Anyways, better luck next time. But, I am not complaining anymore...smiles....smiles....coz it was a day well-spent in bliss and yes, I missed someone, my bro (dear you shall live in my memory more than the days you spent on this earth). And, a day is no day if it wouldn't end with a tinge of sadness coz without it all that bliss would come to naught.
The day dramatically turned out to be like a bitter-sweet piece of chocolate. Its the bitterness which is still lingering in my mouth but am OK with it coz that is what makes me more human. Its not pessimism but a sweet realization of a bitter fact of life. It is way past 12 but to me the night is still young and my day isn't over.

No, not so soon. I was so overwhelmed by the happiness I experienced that day that I wanted to pause for a moment and thank everybody who had added joy directly and indirectly. Didn't want to miss the moment and the chance to thank coz life is short and unpredictable :)
