You no longer savour my silence
And, I your cold stares
My fingers fiddle to fill it with some music.
Borrowed words hurt your eardrum
You inch closer only to show the hurt by hurting me
A bloody battle ensues
Exacting muffled moans for words
Imprinting your dominance
for every feeble defiance
An eye for an eye
A wound for a wound
Giving and taking
pain for pain
hurt for hurt
Every limb struggles to avenge
The done and undone.
My body bears the wounds that your heart suffered.
A wicked smile flickers on your face,
and its sweetness on my lips,
A revenge so sweet.
With the scores settled
The two enemies lie
Recovering, recuperating
In each others arms
Readying for the next battle.

Relationships tend to hit this point sometime or the other, especially when we are not careful. Loved reading it..

THIS is lovely <3
Could find time to read your page after long time....and it creates ripples of emotion within readers' minds...I love the expression suppressedly held between words where silence plays with emotive sense...pain is more satisfying than agony...I hear the whispers again...while reading through I remebered the classic by Lord Byron...(When we two parted)...I can't resist to recite a few lines..
...In secret we met
In silence I grieve
That thy heart could forget,
Thy spirit deceive.
If I should meet thee
After long years,
How should I greet thee?
With silence and tears....
Have peace, my child !
