Cryptic Tales

"Anxious is the mind,
Restless is the soul..."

Some tales are left half,
For not every tale can be told.
There are some
That are meant
Only for the soul
And are
Best not told.
For their sacredness lies
In the secrets that they hold.

P.S. The title of the poem is not so apt but I wish to name it thus coz it is cryptic in a way for me.

A Day for Love

Love...love...love...

Its everywhere on coffee mugs, newspaper, fliers, TV commercials, FM channels, flowershops, billboards, etc;

Its everywhere, even in the air, I can see it floating and flying, little heart-shaped red balloons with those magical words printed on it, along with fancy frills and glitter.

I can see the word 'love' unfolding in the wrapped gift;

I can see it when those manicured fingers get entwined with the manly ones behind the bouquet of flowers;

I can see it being explored in the nooks and corners of the body where the essence of life lies hidden;

I can hear it in giggly smiles and perfumed whispers;

I can hear it when “I love you” is chanted frivolously or like a well-rehearsed monologue which turns into a dialogue;

I see it everywhere around me,
Except where it should have been;
in the heart.

P.S. Wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day!
May each of you be touched by the most beautiful emotion on this earth which is stronger than Fevicol. May it keep the two hearts glued forever. Let not market forces but the forces of your heart bind you two.

Urban Jungle

The metal python moves swiftly sucking and spewing people on tiled floors every five minutes. Its a pleasant contrary to it's fleshy counterpart as it is waited upon rather than chased away or beaten to death by the urban beings. But, its quite a scene when the urban man's impatience touches newer heights with every seconds delay of their domesticated python's coming. It takes them no more than a fraction of a second to unleash the monster within. To watch their monstrosity grow and battle with time and others, to become the food of this mighty python can be amusing or infuriating at times. Never will you witness such a scene when the food looked more eager to be devoured than the demon.
The slenderous python obeying techno command stuffs its belly with such irate crowds, night and day with an insatiable hunger and moves on with the same vengeance. Snaking through the dark and deep tunnel, lighting it's way rather than look for light at the end of the tunnel.
Hail! The Metro rail that cometh your way.

P.S. If you fail to understand the post or get lost in the maze of words then you are not to be blamed coz the author herself has got noodled in her own thoughts. If you can then you are a genius :)
